CEO & Co-Founder

Dr. Eibl is responsible for the growth and development of technology, intellectual property and business strategy. Dr. Eibl holds a PhD in Biomolecular Sciences and he has conducted postdoctoral training in the field of bioengineering. Dr. Eibl’s past experiences include establishing and maintaining a six million dollar state-of-the-art laboratory at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.

Dr. Jon-Emile Kenny

Dr. Kenny obtained his M.D. at the University of Toronto. He completed his residency and chief residency in general internal medicine at NYU-Langone Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in pulmonary & critical care medicine at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Kenny is also the founder of Heart-Lung.org (a critical medical education website), and he is the Senior Contributing Editor for PulmCCM. Dr. Kenny will lead clinical evaluation, functionality and 510K certification of technology for approval by the Food and Drug Administration.

Mr. Andrew Eibl holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa, and is currently pursuing the Canadian Human Resources Professional Designation. Mr. Eibl has over 7 years of experience in healthcare data analytics, human resources, project management, and business development. Previously, he managed a Human Resource Information System with over 2000 employees, and was a Data Specialist for health case costing at Health Sciences North.

Director of Finance and Co-Founder

Mr. Sachit Harish is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with a strong background in start-up financing and growth. Currently, Mr. Harish resides as the Controller of Cardel Homes, where he overlooks the entire accounting and financing requirements for the Ottawa operations. He previously spent over 5 years auditing a wide range of real estate, high-tech, manufacturing and private corporations at Deloitte LLP as a Senior. After Deloitte, Sachit worked in the finance department at BTI Systems Inc., where he streamlined the entire revenue process and managed the world-wide sales tax requirements. Mr. Harish also holds the Director of Finance position for a local manufacturing/high-tech startup in Ottawa, BitAccess Inc., where over $1.2million USD in seed financing was raised during its preliminary year.

Dr. Joe Eibl is the CEO and Co-founder of KE2 Technologies.

Dr. Paul Magnin – Chairman of the Board of Directors

Dr. Paul Magnin – Chairman of the Board of Directors

Paul Magnin spent 17 years as a key contributor to Hewlett-Packard’s Ultrasound Imaging business, and he is credited with inventing color flow Doppler imaging. He was the R&D Manager of Hewlett-Packard’s Imaging Systems business from 1992 through 1995 and General Manager from 1996 through 1998. From 1999 through 2003, Dr. Magnin was the President and CEO of LightLab Imaging. LightLab Imaging, a medical device start-up company, brought to market a proprietary technology that employs infrared light to make images with resolution on the micron scale for Cardiology, Endoscopy, Neurology, and Surgical Microscopy. He managed the company from the start-up phase through the sale of the company to Goodman Ltd. Subsequently he was the Founder and CEO of Novelis, Inc. a privately funded start-up focused on guiding therapy for Interventional Cardiology applications. Novelis was sold to Volcano Corporation in 2008.

Dr. Magnin is an advisor and board member of a number of medical device start-up companies and was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ultrasonix Medical Corp. in Vancouver, BC. He holds over 20 patents and has authored over 20 scientific journal articles. He has been studying and working in medical imaging since 1977 while an undergraduate at Princeton University. In 1981 he completed his doctorate in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University where he was part of the Ultrasonic Imaging research team.

Dr. Stuart Foster – Director

Stuart Foster is currently a senior scientist at Sunnybrook Research Institute and Professor and Canada Research Chair in Ultrasound Imaging, Department of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto. His current research centers on the development of high frequency clinical and preclinical imaging systems, array technology, intravascular imaging, photo acoustics, and molecular imaging. Stuart is a fellow of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and IEEE. He is the founder and former Chairman of VisualSonics Inc. which manufactures imaging equipment considered to be the gold standard in high frequency ultrasound. VisualSonics is now part of the Fujifilm group of companies. Dr. Foster co-founded the Mouse Imaging Centre (MICe) now at the Toronto Centre for Phenogenomics. He has served on the Board of Directors of the National Cancer Institute of Canada and as Chairman of its Committee on Research (ACOR). He has previously been the recipient of the Eadie Medal for major contributions to engineering in Canada and has been the recipient of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, the Manning Award of Distinction for Canadian Innovation and the Ontario Premier’s Discovery Award. He serves on numerous advisory bodies and is currently on the editorial boards of Ultrasonic Imaging and Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology. Dr. Foster was the recipient of the 2010 Rayleigh Award from IEEE.
